-Delco Times , "Steel Magnolias" at The Candlelight Theatre
Hannah Parke was born and raised in East Tennessee. She moved to Philadelphia to receive her BFA in Acting and Musical Theatre from The University of the Arts. After graduation, she immediatly went on the National Tour of The Lightning Thief. She now lives and works in both Philadelphia and New York City, performing in theatre, commercials, and voiceover.
Hannah is a catalytic and rambunctious actor, singer, cabaret artist, and playwright. She loves full-bodied and multi-sensory storytelling and is bold, energetic, and specific in her approach. Her southern roots ground her work and add texture and tactility to her performances. Whether working on classical or contemporary texts, she takes big risks, strives for authenticity, and a rich balance between strength and vulnerability. She will belt your ears off, play you the mandolin, and make you one heck of a grilled cheese sandwich.
Hannah is a proud member of AEA.
